Jennifer Rush is the author of several young adult and middle grade novels. She began telling stories before she had the ability to write a coherent sentence and if prompted, will tell you the true tale of how she convinced her neighbor that she had the ability to transport them into the TV. (Spoiler: she did not, in fact, transport them into the TV)
She had her first taste of writing glory when her entry into the Young Author's Contest in 4th grade won her a Mickey Mouse pencil. This was also her first taste of writing disappointment when she realized the girl who won first place got to leave school for a day. She started taking writing more seriously in her teens and wrote her first novel, a vampire novel, before she finished high school. It was terrible.
Jennifer lives in a little Michigan town on the shoreline of Lake Michigan with her husband, two children, and the James Dean of Cats, Jasper Ole Boy.
